Recap...I swear I'll keep up with this more!

Wow, it's been a while. Can't believe I gave up on blogging (as I usually do) so soon. Sorry, to "everyone" that would sporadically check out of curiosity and surely gave up after realizing that I definitely gave up as well. What have I been up to? Let's see...

1) Unwillingly gained 6 pounds (whoops)
2) Started working at a women's fashion company doing Corporate Finance (sorry, not going to disclose, suffice it to say, I get an amazing discount, get to see all sorts of adorable collections, work with some great and creative people! So refreshing from my typical finance positions.)
3) Got really into Boxing. I train at Women's World of Boxing at Mendez Gym with a great coach! She's amazing and whips me into shape.
4) Started running again (literally, just this morning...I ran 6 miles in 50 minutes and I was BEAT)
5) Committed myself to a Summer of Rooftops challenge in NYC, where I tried to go to as many of this city's amazing rooftops. I can do a reviews of my learnings some other time.
6) Created a formal system of "side savings," It was fun, I made a spreadsheet and everything. I should explain the system later because...I'm pretty impressed with myself.
7) Slowly weaned myself off of mascara at work. This was probably my biggest accomplishment because let's be real, if you wear mascara to work everyday and then all of a sudden discontinue it one day, people NOTICE. It took 3 weeks of lessening the application everyday and now I'm FREE. I can now sleep in every morning for an extra 5 minutes. Totally worth it. Those 5 minutes <3.
8) Visited JAPAN! This was such a great experience. Pictures and travel suggestions for those who want to visit to be posted soon.
9) Switched to cast iron cooking, and its glorious. Love my cast iron skillets, grill pan, and enameled dutch ovens. They're so darn heavy though and I keep burning myself, ugh.
10) Traveled to San Diego, Austin, Orlando, Punta Cana, Washington D.C., Boston, Dallas, and Houston (at least 4-5x times on 4-5x separate occasions). I'm pretty sure I've decided where I want to retire and die. Is 26 too early to start thinking about that? (In case you were wondering, I'm referring to San Diego). Also...I am not about that suitcase life. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but dang, I'm one amazing packer.

There's a brief recap, but you probably already knew that because let's be real..if you're reading this, you're most likely related to me. It's the reality of the situation, and I'm cool with it.

Post about Japan to follow!
